Update on quizzes and bonus.

  1. The final quiz will be on may 22.
  2. Update on dropping lowest scores: since may 22 is marked as "own work" in the KTH schedule, I will drop the two lowest quiz scores before computing the average. (I highly recommend that you do the relevant problems for the final quiz before taking the exam.)

The quiz results give up to 10% bonus on your final exam score. When computing the quiz average, your lowest TWO scores will be dropped (in case of sickness, schedule conflicts etc etc.)

Clarifying examples:

  • 100% on quizzes, 50% on the exam: total score 100*0.10 + 50 = 60%.
  • 50% on quizzes, 75% on the exam: total score 50*0.10 + 75 = 80%.

Bonus validity: the bonus will be counted at the first ordinary exam, and the first ordinary re-exam.
